HOW TO TRANSITION WINTER CLOTHES INTO SPRING

I got such great feedback on the first "Transitioning" article that I posted early August 2014. It inspired me to do another one for the Spring, because why not? Who wouldnt love the warm weather after that BRUTAL Winter we experienced here in the US. As some of you may know, I love the sun so writing this article makes me so exited. I hope this little post finds you all well, enjoy!

Even though the sun is finally out and we can finally wear our skirts and sundresses, don't put away your warm clothes just yet, as the weather can get crazy sometimes. The big puffy coats can go, not the rest of it.This post will show you (hopefully) how to dress warm, Springy and fashionable at the same time. I am no fashion expert, I am FAR from it, these are just suggestions, you don't have to like every single one of them. I only do this because I love it.

1. SWITCH UP THE SCARVES
The heavy knit scarf can go away with the puffy coat because you're not gonna need it. Yes it might get somewhat cold during the early weeks of spring but BRUH! a knit scarf though? Invest in some nice colorful scarves to warm you up during the chilly days of spring. If you have some already, its time to bring those babies out!

2. BRING OUT THE FLATS
If you don't want your feet to sweat, then you know what to do honey. I won't be too quick to say to put the boots away because you might need them when the rain comes. Flats are such an easy way to upgrade your Winter closet into Spring and Summer plus you don't have to worry about trends when it comes to flats, they never go out of style.

3. INVEST IN A LIGHT JACKET
Now this is really important. I see people wearing just t-shirts when the weather gets a tad bit warm. Like c'mon, it's 50 degrees sweety, you know you cold! That's how people get sick out here bruh! Also don't wear a big winter jacket in a 65 degree weather, that's not healthy either. Please take care of yourselves, I know we all miss the warm weather but its never that serious. Invest in a good pair of light jacket or a cardigan.

4. PAIR SWEATERS WITH COLORFUL BOTTOMS
Use this time of the year to play around with colors. Colored pants and patterned pants are great ways to upgrade your winter closets.

5. SKIRTS
Can we all take a moment and appreciate the fact that we can FINALLY  wear our skirts now? I am sorry for being so weird but things like this brings so much happiness in my life #girlygirlproblems lol. But seriously though, aren't you guys tired of wearing jeans? I know I am. Power to the skirt nation!

6. LIPSTICKS/NAIL COLORS
The most easiest and effortless way to dive yourself into spring, well only if you know how to apply the products and if you get the right shades and colors for you. I wouldnt be very concerned about nail colors because most colors look great on all skin colors. And if you don't know how to apply it, you can ask your friend, sister or PAY a professional to do it for you. If you dont have the money you dont have to worry, its not mandatory! Lipstick, lipgloss...yeah if you can find the right color for you then you dont gotta worry.
When it comes to lipsticks,  I would say to play around with nudes, pinks and corals. Keep your eye makeup simple and neutral; neutral, gold or copper eye shadow and bold lips look really great in the spring.
I also recommend playing around with a lot of pastels, pinks, corals when it comes to nail polishes. Looks great on every skin tone.
