6 WAYS TO MAKE YOUR OUTFIT LOOK EXPENSIVE

I am so excited about this post! Believe it or not, I actually practice the things that I preach/share on my blog so I hope I can learn something from this and I also hope that this post finds you all well. Who doesn't love the idea of looking glam and fab without having to spend tons of money? I hope these 6 ways will help you step your game up without breaking the bank. Enjoy!

1. BLAZER
Invest in a good pair of blazer, purchase something that will make you stand out. If you are not sure what will make your blazer stand out, focus on the details (the buttons, the color, the fabric, the shape of the blazer, sometimes the little things make the biggest difference). I know, I know...blazers can cost a bit more but you can always thrift for these kind of items. Thrift stores have really good deals, trust me, all you need is time and patience to search through the racks...

2. WIDE BRIM HAT
I recently purchased one from H&M for $25 and I love it! It adds so much character to an outfit. It's such an effortless way to upgrade a boring outfit to a fabulous one.

3. STATEMENT OUTERWEAR
You know how every girl has or want to have a freakum dress in their closet/wardrobe, yeah you should probably invest in a really good outerwear too. You know, that kind you only wear to special occasions? Yeah you should get one. And again, you don't have to break the bank to look glam, you can always go thrifting for these kinds of stuff.

4. STATEMENT JEWELRY.
A good statement jewelry can do no wrong to an outfit. Thrift stores have unique pieces, also check out online Asian stores (choies.com, sheinside.com) they have great deals.

5. PUT AN EFFORT IN YOUR HAIR AND MAKEUP.
No I am not saying that your makeup has to be the boomdigity. If you can apply your concealer, lip-gloss/lipstick, eyeliner and mascara properly then you're good! If you cant, you should learn it on YouTube (personal favorites; Shirley B. Eniang, Patricia Bright, lizlizlive, Destiny Godley, Beautybyjj) and Pinterest for easy instructions and ideas. Learn how to work with your hair too; you don't have to do anything crazy, it just needs to look neat.

6. CARRY YOURSELF WELL
If you don't learn anything from this post, I hope you get something from this tiny section. You can wear the most expensive dress in the world, but if you have no class or confidence, then no one will
be able to see the value of that dress.
