This is like an on-going tag on YouTube and I thought it would be fun to do it too and maybe educate my younger brothers and sisters even my colleagues about certain things; you're never too young or too old to learn y'know? Even though I am not too far off 20, I think I am quite qualified to discuss the few things that I have learned in my 20s. Hope you enjoy. Leggo!
In my 20s, I have learned that....
1. You have to accept and love yourself for who you are and this will positively influence the way people treat you.

3. You have to ignore people's irrelevant opinions. People will talk, no what you do! So do you booboo!
4. Not everyone who claims to be your friend loves you or wants the best for you. They will laugh with you and wish you the best but curse you right behind your back.
5. Sometimes you have to cut some people off and love them from a distance.
6. When you are overwhelmed by life challenges, crying is sometimes the best solution. It works wonders for me.
7. You enjoy and appreciate the company of older people. Is it just me? I love conversing with my mom, my aunt, my dad, older women in my church, my counselor etc. about life. You leave that conversation with so much information and facts about life.
8. Going to bed at 10pm with all your work done is like a gift! Because it is so difficult to go to bed early. For some reason in your 20s you always have loads of work to do, its impossible to get all the beauty sleep you deserve.
9. You become careful about the things you put in your body. You eat more healthy foods.
10. You learn to spend less. I never really struggled with learning how to manage my money. I guess I can say that I don't spend my money on any ordinary thing. I focus more on my NEEDS more than my WANTS.
11. You don't have the power to fix anyone. Let them be, go on with your life!
12. You're not a tree, so if something is not working for you, you don't just sit there and be sad about it. You do something to change that situation!
13. You have to learn to say No! I am still working on it...

15. You become selective with your friends. You choose to become friends with people who inspire you, you choose to become friends with people who are better than you, so that you can learn from them.
16. You learn to become your own leader, that is, you depend on yourself more.
17. This might be different for some people, but I really enjoy being alone now. I don't think I ever used have a problem about being by myself. Well sometimes I hated eating out alone but now I don't even care lol! I enjoy the time I spend with myself.
18. You learn to become organized! Its not like you have a choice, you have to. You have to be careful the decision you make in your 20s, because some of these can really impact your entire life
19. You become more interested in books or journals or articles that teaches about life, because you kinda wanna know if you're doing things right lol
20. Being in your 20s doesn't mean your life has be perfect! You will make a lot of mistakes, you will fail a lot, you will change your mind about things(course major, relationships, opinions) a lot, friends will fail you. But it is OKAY. Seriously it is. These setbacks and disappointments are the ones prepare us for the better things that God has in store for us.
So if you're in your 20s and you're worried about not having things figured out, stop stressing yourself out. There is nothing like being in your 20s and having everything figured out. After all we are all still growing and learning. So just enjoy life, enjoy being you, make mistakes and learn from them.
If you're not in your 20s yet, don't stress out either. Let things flow naturally.
God bless, and I hope y'all have a lovely weekend!
xx
