If you know me, then you know how much I adore and admire this young lady. My obsession for Shirley is not a new thing; finding her channel on YouTube is probably one of the best things that ever happened to me. No she is not God, but she has taught me A LOT! (story time) Back in 2011, when I was just a freshman in college, I used to have a really low self esteem. I have always loved the idea of dressing up but back in 2011, I was too afraid to stand out. I thought people would make fun of my style, and just me in general. I stumbled over Shirley and Patricia's (another one of my favorite youtubers) channels on YouTube, I instantly fell in love with their work and started watching them religiously. One thing I love most about their channels is that, they don't just focus on fashion and makeup, they talk about how to be confident, they advice their viewers to be themselves and all that good stuff. I took their advice and now I am so in love with myself. I still some work but I am really happy with how far I have come. By the way, I want everything she has on in her Autumn lookbook, but the way my bank account is set up .... :( lol |
