In my "How to be successful" post, I mentioned the importance of taking breaks in between work. Well what do you normally do when you take breaks from work? Do you go for walks? Do you visit social networks? Do you go for a run?
I normally go on social networks, and it does not always end well. I end up spending more time on there than I am supposed to. Well this school year, I do not have much time to waste so I need all the energy and inspiration in the world to keep me on the right track. I am on the hunt to finding new ways to take breaks from work and other life challenges. This is what I found so far, hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
1. Take a bath 26. Eat a meal in silence
2. Light a candle 27. Turnoff all electronics
3. Listen to music 28. Take a bike ride
4. Take a nap 29. Pet a furry creature
5. Go to a body of water 30. Create your own coffee break
6. Watch the stars 31. View some art
7. Watch the clouds 32. Examine an everyday object with fresh eyes
8. Rest your legs on the wall 33. Drive somewhere new
9. Let out a sigh 34. Go to a park
10. Fly a kit 35. Go to a farmer's market
11. Write a letter 36. Forgive someone
12. Learn something new 37. Read or watch something funny
13. Read a book 38. Color with crayons
14. Sit in nature 39. Make some music
15. Move twice as slowly 40. Climb a tree
16. Take deep belly breaths 41. Let go of something
