HOW TO BE SUCCESSFUL

We all want to succeed in life one day, but with distractions and other challenges that come our way, focusing on our dreams can be quiet difficult sometimes. Keep in mind that you can never change your life until you change something you do daily. The secret of your success is found in your daily routine. Don't expect change when you spend half of your day on social network, mingling in other people's business or just being overall lazy. These 10 steps that I am about to share with you, have helped me in so many ways as a student and I hope that it can also guide you to achieve something huge in the future.

1. Make a TO-DO list: this step is very important. A TO-DO list is a prioritized list of all the tasks you need to carry out. By keeping a to-do list you make sure that all the important things you have to do are written at one place, so you don't forget anything important (as that happens a lot).

2.Give yourself small rewards for completing big task: I personally like this step as it encourages me to work harder. What I do is, I go to the store or online and search for something nice that I would like to give myself, I don't get that item right away, I wait till I complete that task. Sometimes I take myself out to eat at a nice place. Its always a nice feeling, knowing that you got that reward for achieving something.

3.Find ways to break up workday. Do not cramp all your work in one sitting. Give yourself a break,
your brains and your body will thank you.

4. Avoid addictive time wasting habits. Do not waste your time on Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, etc. If its hard to avoid those habit, maybe uninstall that app from your phone, deactivate your accounts or set up a timetable for your social networks. It sounds like a lot but it will be worth it in the end

5.Get as much done as early in the day as you can. You have so much energy during the early hours, get some work done.

6. Tackle that really tough TO-DO first.

7. Showcase your success. Let others know about your success. Call your mother/father, tell him/her that you got an A on that really hard exam, tell your siblings, your friends.

8. Tell someone your goals. This will encourage you to work harder as you want to prove to the person or people you told your dreams about, that you can do it.

9. Be realistic

10. Make goal setting a habit. You know how you really love fashion, food, spending time on social networks?  Yeah, make goal setting a habit, make it something you love, something you cannot live without.
